Turkish Airlines, one of the fastest growing airlines, has shown it can keep up with the world’s best carriers not only in terms of the choice of routes it offers but also cutting edge customer service, with the launch of a new golf App.
A “Turkish Airlines Open Mobile Golf App” was introduced for golf lovers at the start of the Turkish Open last year but the airline has now made it available free of charge at the Apple App Store. It is compatible with iPhone 3, 4 and 5 as well as iPad2 and its subsequent upgrades. An Android-based release will be available soon.
The Turkish Airlines Open 2013 was held in Antalya from 7th to 10th November, and attracted world-class golfers that included Tiger Woods, with Frenchman Victor Dubuisson winning the event. The Turkish Airlines Open mobile golf application allows players to compete with rivals on links that are identical to the Maxx Royal course where the event was played. The App includes real course simulations and stunning visuals that will make it a favourite of golfers worldwide, offering the perfect way to while the time in airport lounges or on flights.
Indicative of the Turkish national carrier’s plans to become one of the busiest airlines, within the last month Turkish Airlines has announced increased flights to Marseilles, Lisbon, Budapest and Donetsk (Ukraine). The airline has an integral role in the Turkish Government’s plans in attracting foreign investment from all corners of the globe, including investors wishing to tap into the Turkey’ property market and real estate in Istanbul.
